New Shirt for Work!

This came for me today! I decided I needed to upgrade my work clothes. It's a little pricey, but you really can't wear stuff from Sears or Target to work at an attorney's office, now can you? Especially one with a bazillion dollar front office/waiting room, with the carved wood paneling and expensive high back chairs, with magazines catering to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.

Hey, they pay me enough, and my car loan is paid off, so I got this sexy white wrap shirt. I liked the grey one better, but it only came in 0X size, and I'm a 2X girl.

So get this: Their definition of 0X is size 10-12 !!! Since WHEN is a size 10 a PLUS size? Hey, I wouldn't mind being a 14!

So here's the new shirt. I love it, but I love almost all my clothes in my closet.

Confessions of a Big Girl

I have always had trouble finding really nice clothes that fit me well. I wear plus size. Department stores only carry a fraction of the amount of clothing for big girls that they do for skinny girls. So you end up going to every store in the mall to find stuff you like.

And of course, you have to get undressed each time to try on things, and then get dressed again. All that walking around with bags of shirts and dresses. I don't need to tell you. Strippers take their clothes off less often! (Well, ok, that's a lie.)

The discount stores like Target aren't much better. And they always put the plus size women's clothing right next to the maternity section. What's up with that?

So I started shopping on the internet. But it isn't much easier there.

I still manage to find some really great stuff. I'll show you what I bought, and I buy a lot of things! So if you are a clothes freak like me, visit often!
